If you do not wish to become a member or want to try things out first you can still take part in coaching courses, individual coaching, drop-in sessions or attend Club sessions as a visitor on 5 occasions in any one year for a £5/session Guest Fee. You will need to sign the Visitors book and be signed in by a current member. Guest fees are also a way for members with visiting family or friends to bring then along.

Individual Coaching

If you would like 1:1 Coaching please contact the coaches directly to arrange a mutually agreed time. The hourly rate is currently between £17.50 - £23/hr. The mobile number of each coach can be found under 'coaches' , click here for info

It is up to you the player to book the court separately with the Centre Manager and charges are dependent on whether you are a member or non-member of the Club and the type of court.

adult group coaching

Huntingdon Tennis Centre runs a range of courses for adults to cover various levels of ability as follows:

• Beginners – for complete beginners or those who have played very little the coaching covers basic strokes and simple tactics
• Rusty Rackets – more advanced techniques for those who used to play regularly, possibly for school or club teams and want to get back into the swing of things,
• Improvers – levels 1 & 2
  • for those moving up from Beginners to develop consistency, power & control of all shots, footwork and tactics for ‘winning’ games
  • for those moving up from Rusty Rackets or for regular players at club/team standard who are looking to improve their game. Course covers more advanced techniques to improve consistency, power and control of strokes. Improving footwork and movement with more emphasis on moving forwards in doubles and playing at the net. Fun drills and doubles/singles play at the end of each session.

Although courses are designed to fit into local school holidays in half term blocks there is no need to wait to take part.
