annual club tournament 2009

The Annual Club Tournament was run over the week Sunday 13 to Sunday 21st September 2009 inclusive.

Entry was open to ALL categories of Senior members and selected junior players (the latter as determined by the coaches)
You can enter doubles with a Partner or as Partner Wanted
Two matches are guaranteed (numbers permitting) with first round losers automatically going into the Plate Competition
No FEE to enter

Men's Singles	Ed Gee beat Chris Little in 3 sets 3-6 7-5 6-4
Men's doubles	Chris Little and Ed Gee beat Chad Mcvann and Simon Stevens 6-1, 6-2
Ladies Singles	Philippa Croucher won the round robin tournament on a count back on games with Sarah Bragg coming second
Ladies Doubles	this was played as a round Robin as only 3 couples entered, Philippa Croucher & Louise Richman, Eilish Mackie & Sophia Rolt and Sheila Westmoreland & Wendy Haynes. Our junior pairing of Eilish and Sophia beat both couples and Sheila and Wendy beat Philippa & Louise
Mixed Doubles	Ed Gee & Naomi Jackson beat julian Payne & Sophia Rolt 6-4, 3-6, 6-
